She earned her teaching diploma with Felix Renggli at the Conservatory in Schaffhausen, her concert diploma with distinction* with Marianne Stucki at the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK (former Conservatory Winterthur). This was followed by additional studies on the baroque flute with William Dickinson at the ZHdK. Between 2001 and 2014, several concert tours and teaching contracts gave her the opportunity to work at musical academies in Indonesia and Brazil.<\/p>\n

Currently, she gives concerts regularly in various formations with modern and historical instruments. In addition, she is on the road as a soloist with orchestras in Switzerland, Brazil, Bulgaria and Serbia. She teaches at her own Studio Miss Flute as well as at the Musikschule Z\u00fcrcher Unterland. And she regularly gives master classes in Brazil, Bulgaria and the USA.<\/p>\n

Critics praise Myriam Hidber Dickinson as a musician who possesses a rare gift for thoughtful musical interpretation.
